Kenya – Cameroon: Patrick Soko, Marc Brys’ surprise?

The Indomitable Lions of Cameroon face Kenya this Monday at the Mandela national stadium in Kampala. It is in the context of the return match of the 4e day of the CAN Morocco 2025 qualifiers. Indeed, Vincent Aboubakar and his teammates won in the first leg (4-1). They are still favorites. But Harambee Stars coach Engin Firat wants to take revenge.

Kenya is determined to take all three points in this 4e day in order to maintain his dream of being at the next CAN in Morocco. We do not rule out a rearrangement of the Indomitable Lions starting eleven for this match. Coach Marc Brys has shown his desire to give playing time to new players. This was already the case for Martin Atemengue. The young 21-year-old midfielder was entitled to 25 minutes of play. He replaced Carlos Baleba in the first leg.

This Monday, Patrick Soko could also make his debut for the Indomitable Lions. The SD Huesca striker in Liga 2 in Spain is eagerly awaited. Fans want to see what he has between his legs. Marc Brys had indicated that he wanted to give each player the chance to express themselves in this process of renewing the den. He registered his 1is goal of the season in the 8e day of the championship against Cadiz.
