Austria crushes Norway, Greece wins against Ireland, tie between Faroe Islands and Latvia

Erling Haaland’s Norway traveled this Sunday evening to the Raiffeisen Arena (Linz) to face Austria, for the 4th day of the Nations League. It only took eight minutes of play to see the first goal of this match, on this powerful strike from Marko Arnautović, to give the Austrians the advantage (8th). But shortly before the end of the first period, Alexander Sørloth managed to pick up the score for Norway (39th). His goal unfortunately only narrowly delayed the inevitable Austrian steamroller. Returning from the locker room, Ralf Rangnick’s men rolled out. First with Arnautović (49th), who scored twice from the penalty spot. Then, thanks to Philipp Lienhart (59th), Stefan Posch (63rd) and Michael Gregoritsch (71st), to allow Austria to win largely (5-1) and come back to match their evening opponent in this group 3 of route B.
