Lindsay’s suicide: “I have to do it”, the teenager’s “best friend” explains why she wrote her goodbye letter

On May 12, Lindsay, 13, committed suicide in Verdin-le-Veil, in Pas-de-, after leaving a letter denouncing the school harassment she had been experiencing for months. A letter that was actually written by her best friend. She testifies.

“Dear parents, if you are reading this letter, it is because I have probably left. I am sorry to have done that but I could no longer take the insults morning and evening, the mockery and the threats. I cannot take it anymore. no more and I want to get it over with.”

This heartbreaking farewell letter attributed to the young Lindsay, 13 years old, has – as revealed by the graphological expertise relayed by The Parisian – was actually written by another teenager. Near BFMTVthe latter explains having written it in February, three months before the teenager committed suicide.

“If it can help us”

“She’s my best friend, it was complicated to write that, I had difficulty. But I said to myself ‘if it’s to send him to the academy and make things happen afterwards‘, I have to do it. If it can help us, help her, I have to do it.”she says. “I made him promise to never do anything stupid.”

According to The Parisian, the “best friend” de Lindsay, however, claimed last May on the set of TPMP to have never heard of the latter’s suicidal desires.

The hearings carried out by the investigators have, according to our colleagues, revealed “evidence of an ambiguous friendship” between Lindsay and the one who claims to be her best friend.

According to the witnesses heard, the author of the letter initially attributed to Lindsay “would have suicidal tendencies which she would spread to other schoolgirls”. BFMTV indicates that the girl and her family had to move due to the harassment she was also experiencing.
