The firefighters were called on the night of Saturday October 12 to Sunday October 13, 2024, around 2:35 a.m., to intervene on the RD 48, the road linking Essé to Marcillé-Robert (Ille-et-Vilaine ), for a road accident. Only one motorcycle was involved.

Very unclear circumstances
When they arrived on site, the five firefighters discovered a 25-year-old motorcyclist unresponsive and could only note the death. The circumstances of the accident remain very unclear at this time.
