An accident involving a tractor and a light vehicle occurred this Saturday, October 12, 2024 around 7:45 a.m. on the departmental road, between Mayet and Ecommoy.
According to our information, the road was blocked due to the emergency intervention, still in progress at 11:30 a.m.
Firefighters from Mayet, Ecommoy, Pontvallain and the Sarthe departmental fire and rescue service were mobilized.

The accident left one seriously injured and one lightly injured, transported to the Le Mans hospital center.
The circumstances of the accident remain to be determined. According to our information, the tractor was struck from behind by the light vehicle. In the impact, the agricultural machine was cut in two and its driver was injured in the head.
