Federal 3: the Guéret rugby players must recover against Naves-Seilhac-Lagraulière

First success away from home for Guéret? If the first block included two receptions with “two victories at stake”, the second offers two away matches (Naves and Issoudun) for a single meeting at home with the arrival of Ussel.

The NSL, which is beginning its second season in federal 3, promises to be a significant opponent. The failed outing at Pompadour remains fresh in our memories.

The representatives of the Naves-Seilhac-Lagraulière association are a valiant and united group who take great pleasure in getting together on the ground. Local leaders appreciate and have complete confidence in a regional workforce that has not changed much since accession.

The last outing against the very solid Issoldunois group confirmed the intentions, the state of mind. Certainly, the NSL bowed without giving up by offering a quality response upsetting the Indre fifteen. A warning for the Green and Black scalded at Pompadour.

Returns to the workforce

The South African Sihlalo Benge will take his place after health problems and a small tear in his thigh. Likewise, Baptiste Eloy returns and probable tests for Lucas Mazeau and Benjamin Maridat in the reserve team.

Other good news: Valentin Nore’s knee injury rules out the heavy hypothesis of affected cruciate ligaments. Four to five weeks should be enough for the third line to recover. Aurélien Rouchon, for his part, will be operational in a shorter time. By remaining cautious, the number of staff in the infirmary is fortunately dwindling!

2023, the year when the entire town of Guéret supported its rugby team during a historic season, in Fédérale 3

Either way, players know the task won’t be easy; It will be appropriate to put in all the ingredients to aim for a first success away from home. Same objective for the reserve brought into play after its victory against Saint-Junien.

This weekend. Saturday: EDR training; tournaments at the Palais for the M8, M10, M12 and the field in Saint-Léonard-de-Noblat for the M14.
Sunday: Teams 1 and 2 in Naves, departure at 9 a.m.
