WrestleMania 41 is still a long way off, but rumors are starting to emerge about the event’s possible main event. At WWE Bad Blood, The Rock made his return and, looking at Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes, he counted “1-2-3” before leaving.
What can we deduce from this? According to WrestleVotes (via Backstage Pass), the idea of a match between Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns and The Rock for WrestleMania 41 has been discussed within WWE. While it’s still unclear if this is the final plan for WrestleMania, this Triple Threat Match has indeed been proposed internally.
“My opinion is that this is where we are heading for WrestleMania. 1-2-3, like in a Triple Threat Match. I can tell you that option is being considered. I don’t know if it has been finalized one way or another It’s October 8th, I doubt it’s finalized yet, but this idea has been proposed.”
The possibility of a Triple Threat Match between Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns and The Rock is therefore considered for WrestleMania 41.
