A goalscorer wants to leave the club!

Boycotted and pushed towards the exit, an FC attacker made his decision. He wants to be on the list of transferable players during the next Nantes transfer window. A hard blow for Antoine Kombouaré, who could have counted on this scorer for the rest of the season in Ligue 1.

Despite the international break, business continues at FC Nantes. At the beginning of the week, Nathan Zézé’s file was reopened. Barring injury, the Nantes nugget should shake up the FC Nantes transfer window in the coming months. Already courted last summer, the Bleuets international is of particular interest to Arsenal and Bayer Leverkusen.

Nathan Zézé will not, however, be the only player to liven up the Nantes transfer window. This winter, Waldemar Kita will also have to manage the case of one of his attackers. Despite being extremely successful at the start of last season, the Egyptian international is no longer part of Antoine Kombouaré’s plans.

Mostafa Mohamed no longer wants to be boycotted by Antoine Kombouaré

What do Mostafa Mohamed and Kylian Mbappé have in common? The 2 players occupied the ranking of top scorers in Ligue 1 during the 6th day in 2023/24. After a great start and 5 goals scored, Mostafa Mohamed took his foot off the gas. However, this did not prevent the Egyptian striker from having a full season, with 15 goals and 4 assists in 45 matches in all competitions. A record which also allowed him to be part of Egypt’s list for CAN 2024.

Not enough, however, in the eyes of Antoine Kombouaré. The FC Nantes coach has not started Mostafa Mohamed once since the start of the 2024/25 Ligue 1 season. A situation which particularly frustrates the 26-year-old striker. According to the Egyptian press, Mostafa Mohamed has also made a drastic decision: he wants to leave FC Nantes in the winter transfer window!

Author of 1 goal in 6 starts, the FC Nantes striker seems to be blocked by the attacking trio composed of Moses, Lepenant and Abline. It remains to be seen whether Kita will agree to let Mostafa Mohamed go. During the Nantes summer transfer window, the owner of the Canaries refused several offers from major European clubs. The situation seems to have changed, with the player no longer happy with his situation. After Jean-Charles Castelletto was sanctioned, here is a new Nantais pushed towards the exit by Antoine Kombouaré!

Nostalgic for the Greens, I rely on Klopp’s Reds to keep smiling. In search of thrills thanks to high mountain sports, I thrill in front of my TV through tennis, basketball, football and winter sports. Looking forward to being behind the French team during the Olympic Games!
