the reassurance of the Head of State after the death of advisor Royoumbaye Nadoumngar

The mission manager at the presidency of the Republic Royoumbaye Nadoumngar bowed out on October 5 following illness.

Informed of this sad news, the Head of State, Mahamat Idriss Deby Itno, traveling abroad, instructed his deputy civil chief of staff, Moustapha Masri to go and commiserate with the family of the deceased and comfort them, but also, salute the memory of the deceased.

It was in the company of many other collaborators of the Head of State that the deputy civil chief of staff went this afternoon to the home of the deceased in Gassi in the 7th arrondissement. The words of the Head of State were returned to the widow, orphans, parents and friends of the late Royoumbaye Nadoumngar, gathered for the occasion.

The head of state says he has lost a loyal and honest collaborator, endowed with a patriotic sense. The late Royoumbaye Nadoumngar was an experienced administrator who served in several public, parapublic and private institutions.

He was notably president of the Independent National Electoral Commission (CENI) in 2016 before being appointed advisor to the President of the Republic in 2023. A position he held until his death.
