Évian-les-Bains: The Flottins return to perform their circus

Lhe Théâtre de la Toupine is preparing to write on the 18the volume of its history with the City of Évian-les-Bains. The Fabulous village will make its grand return to the city center from December 13, 2024 and until January 4, 2025. And for this new edition, the Flottins will perform their circus, “ diabolo, juggling, acrobatics… this year, the floats will compete in daring and alternate small and large circus feats », announces the Théâtre de la Toupine press kit.

Several new features should be noted in this 18e edition: first the Star Trail and the Gourmand’s Den will be used more. Located on the square in front of the Palais Lumière, these two places will allow spectators a moment of respite, with on-site catering, all in a lively festive atmosphere thanks to numerous concerts. But this is not the only novelty that the Flottins have in store for us, they will unveil a new ride (fixed this time): called “Cauldron”, it will be the children who will propel this latest innovation.

Creative workshops

And what would the Fabulous village be without its lights? For the first time, a workshop for making lanterns and light sculptures will be offered to the general public. This workshop to prepare for the coming of Santa Claus will be led by Isabelle Barthelemy. The creator of light sculptures suggests making flower lanterns. “ A unique creative collective experience mixed with a moment of sharing around the pleasure of construction, the discovery of natural materials such as wicker, and an immersion in the heart of the Fabulous village », promises the event.
