A woman in her thirties was sexually assaulted in the Bois de Boulogne in the 16th arrondissement of Paris last Saturday, not far from the place where the body of the young Filipina had been found a few days earlier.

The young woman told CNEWS how the events unfolded: “There was a man standing looking at me, he was touching his penis and he was talking to me, but with my headphones I didn’t hear what he was saying. I saw that he looked a little crazy, which you often see in Paris, so I ignored him and moved on.”
The attacker still at large
However, Jeanne Duan was quickly stopped in her tracks after feeling “something on [s]es buttocks”, If the young woman initially believed that it was a dog coming to meet her, it was in reality the individual she had just encountered.
In fact, the latter had followed his victim. “I then turned around, and I saw this man looking straight at me aggressively and that he was planning to do something to me,” she added.
The young woman then started screaming, her attacker fleeing. “He understood that I wanted to take a photo of him, he ran away. I was able to take a few photos of him, but only with his clothes unfortunately not his face.
Jeanne Duan told CNEWS that she would file a complaint. As for the attacker, he is still on the run. Since her attack, the young woman has not slept. However, she had changed her habits in the Bois de Boulogne since the murder of Philippine, raped and killed on September 27 in similar circumstances.
