Top Euro Discount, abbreviated as Tedi, will open its fifth store in Limburg this month in Maaseik. More than 3,000 products will be offered for one euro each. The German chain has the ambition to compete with Action in the discounters’ niche.
Tedi announces that a new store will be opened in the Kloosterbempden shopping center in Maaseik on October 25. That is good news for this retail zone as there is quite a bit of vacancy and a crowd puller is therefore welcome to bring back the commercial flair. Work will soon start on furnishing the 850 m2 building.
The choice for Maaseik is not accidental. Research that Tedi has conducted shows that there is a lot of demand in the region for a discount store with a wide range, such as Action. More than 3,000 references will be offered in Maaseik at the price of 1 euro. In addition, there will also be more expensive branded products and private labels on the shelves.
