An accident on the Caen ring road causes major traffic jams Tuesday morning, one lane is cut

According to Waze and Bison futé, a road accident caused heavy traffic jams on Tuesday October 8, 2024 on the Caen ring road (Calvados). One lane has been neutralized. The accident occurred at the Calix viaduct shortly before 9 a.m.

Several kilometers of traffic jams

Bison Futé and Waze identify major traffic jams going from Ifs, south of the ring road, to the viaduct in the outward direction. Same difficulties coming from Paris where Bison Futé lists 1.2 km of traffic jams. According to the site, the accident was material with two vehicles involved.
