He had taken a wrong turn and had been in a vegetative state for eight years already. He was sick. He was in a center where he was not doing very well. It’s been eight years and he died last year.

Clearly, Antoine Dupont’s father began to suffer the consequences of this accident whilehe had just started his professional career with Olympique. At that time, he was barely an adult. During his discussion with the editors of Papotin, he also discussed more usual subjects. He explained in particular that he had “no children, no girlfriend and no boyfriend”. He also revoked other subjects such as his childhood, his salary and the place of homosexuality in rugby. La Papotin meets Antoine Dupont

The newspaper Le Papotin was born 33 years ago at the day hospital. This establishment welcomes young people with autism, aged 15 to 25. Founded in a medical context, this media allows them to express themselves through writing, but also to have meetings with public figures.

Today, the editorial board of the newspaper has expanded and now brings together around forty members, aged 14 to 50, from a dozen other health and medico-social centers in the Île-de-France region. Each meeting results in the publication of a magazine available on their site. To date, 41 issues have been published and publication is occurring at an irregular pace.
