For this new episode, it is Sophie de Fürst, in the role of the prosecutor’s deputy Julie Dorléac and Samir Boitard in that of gendarmerie captain Hugo Villermoz, who are responsible for finding the biologist’s murderer.
Lionnel Astier, for his part, plays the role of the town doctor. He is also the father of the gendarmerie captain.
This police investigation, as in each episode of this series, is also mixed with a personal story which links the two main characters. A mysterious link which will be revealed at the end of this episode.
We investigated to find the filming locations
If the story is centered on the town of Arbois, it is not always easy to find places and settings that suit the scenario.
The film crews therefore took over premises which they redeveloped and renamed, particularly in the towns of Poligny and Lons-le-Saunier.

The TV film begins with the discovery of the corpse of a biologist in the House of Louis Pasteur, located in Arbois. A must-see place in the town, very well highlighted in the series.
Impossible to shoot a detective series without a gendarmerie ! It is in the former premises of the MGEN in Lons-le-Saunier that the teams set up the workplace of the gendarmes responsible for the investigation in the film.
The hotel in which the prosecutor’s deputy Julie Dorléac resides is indeed the Hôtel des Messageries in Arbois, unlike the Hôtel du Moulin which actually happens to be the Castel Damandre in Planches-prés-Arbois.
The veterinary practice does exist, it is that of Doctor Dominique Magadur, located in Poligny. And for the analyses, the laboratory has taken up residence in the Dadaux Gastrotech company, also located in this town.
The magnificent residence located in the middle of the vineyards of “Domaine Bailly” is the Château des Tourillons in Arbois. As for the sequences filmed in the cellar of this fictitious estate, it is that of Domaine Pinte d’Arbois.
Launched in 2013, this detective series gives pride of place to our regions with intrigues often linked to a legend, an exceptional monument or a local particularity.
It is an opportunity for viewers to discover magnificent places and landscapes. Each episode is independent from the others. The main characters, a man-woman duo, are each time played by different actors.
And to spend a thrilling police evening in Burgundy-Franche-Comté, “Meurtres en Arbois”, broadcast this Saturday October 5 at 9:05 p.m., will be followed by the rebroadcast of the episode “Meurtres dans le Morvan” at 10:35 p.m.
