PHOTOS – Sublime dressed in gold and black, Clara Chappaz combines pregnancy and glamor at the Elysée

Director of the French Tech Mission, an organization responsible for supporting French start-ups, Clara Chappaz left her post since she was appointed Secretary of State for Artificial Intelligence and Digital Affairs by the Prime Minister, Michel Barnier last September 21. Taking her new role to heart, she is ready to take on new challenges with the Ministry of Higher Education, and she has already stood out. The new member of the government went to the Council of Ministers a few days ago, displaying her rounded belly. Several months pregnant, she was dressed in a long flowing skirt, a white top and a black belted jacket. An outfit she wore with a pair of boots. Clara Chappaz made a new appearance this Friday, October 4 on the occasion of an exceptional dinner organized by the President of the Republic Emmanuel Macron at the Élysée Palace as part of the 19th international summit of La Francophonie.

An appointment where she joined Michel Barnier and his wife Isabelle, as well as the Minister of Culture, Rachida Dati, at the height of style in a long satin dress. When she arrived in the courtyard of the Élysée in the 8th arrondissement of , Clara Chappaz looked sublime in a long black dress which hugged her figure perfectly. A piece that she wore with a matching jacket whose lapel was decorated with shiny touches and studs. An outfit that she completed with a small black and gold shoulder bag, as well as a pair of patent pumps. As for accessories, the Secretary of State wore a ring as well as a discreet necklace and a large pair of round, golden earrings. Through this look, she looked resplendent, bringing pregnancy and glamor together.

Rachida Dati, Aurore Bergé… They combined motherhood and politics

Clara Chappaz is not the only politician to have decided to combine motherhood and work within the government. Last January, Sarah El Haïry, then Minister Delegate for Children, Youth and Families, announced that she had given birth to a little girl on her Instagram account after revealing that she was six months pregnant in La Tribune Sunday in October 2023. A few years earlier, Olivia Grégoire gave birth to little Romy on December 12, 2021. Before her, Frédérique Bredin, then Minister of Youth and Sports, was the first pregnant woman in the government in 1992. The same year, Ségolène Royal gave birth to her fourth child when she was still Minister of the Environment. We also remember Florence Parly, Cécile Duflot, Nathalie Kosciusko-Morizet and even Rachida Dati…
