Under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God help him, the Ministry of Industry and Commerce and the General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises (CGEM) are co-organizing the second edition of the “National Day of Industry”, on October 16, 2024, in Benguerir, under the theme “Inaugurate a new industrial era driven towards and by sovereignty, a Royal vision at the service of the citizen and the territories”.
This second edition will bring together ministries, institutions, professional federations and private operators to promote discussions on the new issues linked to the development of the industrial sector to reach its full potential.
This edition capitalizes on the achievements of the previous one, by aligning its objectives with the Directives of the Royal Message which was addressed to the participants and which underlined the need to inaugurate a new industrial era driven by the notion of sovereignty to strengthen resilience and the competitiveness of national industry.

It aims, in fact, to emphasize the importance of promoting the performance and competitiveness of industrial ecosystems, strengthening innovation within the national industrial fabric and meeting the energy and water challenge facing our industry. It will also promote a strong and resilient national industry, fully exploiting the potential of the regions; to create more value and wealth.
On the program for this day, 5 panels will be organized around “industrial sovereignty and the potential of the regions”, “the move upmarket of industrial ecosystems”, “new industrial and technological bets”, “the energy transition” and “the innovation and economic competitiveness.
