The new Dreame L10s Ultra Gen 2 has everything big, except the price

For less than 1,000 euros, the Dreame L10s Ultra has many features, worthy of a high-end model. However, its price is much more accessible, displayed at 700 euros.

Dreaming

Dreame is one of the leaders in the field of home maintenance. The brand offers a complete range of robot vacuum cleaners, ranging from the X40 Ultra, its flagship, to the complete and efficient A1 mower. Although they are very complete and technologically advanced, these products are quite expensive, which makes them difficult to access.

With the L10s Ultra Gen 2, Dreame brings its first autonomous vacuum cleaner robot up to date, but above all lowers its price to make it more accessible, since it is offered at 700 euros. The brand had already worked on less expensive models, such as the L10s Pro Ultra Heat or the L40 Ultra, but this is the first time that the brand has offered such a complete product at such a price.

In line with his predecessors

The brand’s newborn retains the familiar design of the L10s Ultra, taking almost identical appearance from its predecessor. We therefore find a vertical and relatively thin base, decorated with a silver trapdoor on the front. This now accommodates a cleaning solution tank, in addition to the traditional dust bag. On the upper part, we find the traditional hood which hides the two water tanks.

Dreaming

As this is a mid-range product, Dreame has opted for sober colors, namely white plastics for the most part, and a silver-colored cover on the front.

Deep cleaning

Despite a very similar aesthetic, the second generation of the L10s Ultra brings many new features, starting with the suction power. This has been increased to reach 10,000 Pa, which allows the robot to be particularly effective in vacuuming fine particles and animal hair, both on hard floors and on rugs and carpets.

The L10s Ultra Gen 2 also features MopExtend technology which allows the right mop pad to extend up to 4cm to thoroughly clean corners, along baseboards and around furniture.

Dreaming

A detergent tank integrated into the station allows the cleaning solution to be added automatically, avoiding the need to do so manually each time it is refilled.

In addition, Dreame offers the optional Tricut brush to cut animal hair and hair and thus avoid tangles. A water connection kit is also offered as an option, eliminating the need to manually deal with water tanks.

Dreame also worked on improving the robot’s navigation algorithms and its obstacle detection, making it even more methodical and precise in its work.

What is the difference with other models?

Compared to Dreame’s latest affordable models, the L10s Ultra Gen 2 does not have hot water cleaning or a self-cleaning station. It also does not have a motorized side brush, which allows you to reach deeper corners.

Dreaming

That said, at this price point, it features most of the latest cleaning innovations, offering excellent value for money, at least on paper.

Price and availability

The Dreame L10s Ultra Gen 2 is already commercially available for 700 euros. It is sold in particular at Amazon, Fnac Darty, and Cdiscount and will also be available soon at Boulanger.

This is a particularly competitive price, especially given the many features offered.
