Fake buyers in “L’Agence”: Fabrice Luchini admits to having lied and that his appearance was staged!

For four seasons, the Kretz family has been delighting TMC viewers and Netflix subscribers with the series The Agency. Their world is that of luxury, dream residences and clients with extraordinary means. But several sales would have been staged, notably one with Fabrice Luchini…

The series The Agencyworn by Olivier and Sandrine Kretz and their four sons, offers a real estate show where multi-million euro properties change hands, in Brazil, New York or even Spain. A success which attracted many personalities such as François Berléand, who wanted to resell his Basque farm. But as your magazine revealed to you Here is on April 19, the dream sold by the Kretzes would only be a well-orchestrated fiction.

The members of the family, beyond their talents as real estate negotiators, would resort to less than honest arrangements, such as staging false buyers and sellers. A real estate agent, wishing to remain anonymous, said that “the reality of the market is very different from what is shown on the screen”. He even specifies that “Prices are often divided by two or three after filming, and in many cases, the sale does not even go through”. Enough to chill the most loyal fans… And that was without counting a new testimony.

Fabriche Luchini reveals he lied during his appearance on The Agency

As if that were not enough, Fabrice Luchini, with his legendary outspokenness, recently lifted the veil on his own participation in this production. Guest of the series in an episode broadcast in 2020 on TMC, the actor revealed himself to be a potential client, interested in purchasing an exceptional house. But now Fabriche Luchini has just admitted to having mainly played a subtle role: that of the fake customer.

This was not his only revelation: Fabrice Luchini also recognized that the property he came to buy in the episode had already belonged to him for a while! Near TV Magazine, he explains: “Out of kindness, as they found me these offices, which I love, in my popular neighborhood, I agreed to come and act as if I didn’t know them for their show”. And to add with a touch of humor: “I played the client even though I had already purchased the offices! Being an actor is great, it allowed me to thank them. I sometimes watch The Agency but I don’t have deep sympathy for their customers”. A return of the elevator certainly, but done in a less than honest way…
