A civic day for a good cause! | Football Club de – FC information – FC training

This Tuesday, October 1, BATIGERE HABITAT, partner of the FC women’s team for the second consecutive season, organized its “Citizens’ Day” with the BATIGERE Foundation and all the Group’s teams.

This solidarity event aimed to collect used sneakers in order to give them a second life thanks to the SNEAK’COEURS association, specialized in the restoration of sneakers to give them a new use, for charitable purposes.

The initiative brought together members of the Metz staff as well as the entire women’s team, all coming with pairs of sneakers to donate, but also to offer their time to this civic cause. FC Metz also organized an internal sneaker drive with its employees in order to have as many shoes as possible.

Four key personalities spoke during this day: Sébastien Tilignac, general director of BATIGERE HABITAT, Sylvie GIRAULT-SEYERS general director of the Foundation, Michel Ciesla, sole administrator of BATIGERE GIE, and Hélène Schrub, general director of FC Metz. Everyone underlined the importance of such solidarity actions and of the partnership which unites BATIGERE and FC Metz Féminines, based on shared values ​​of citizenship and social responsibility.

The morning began with a friendly breakfast, organized in the BATIGERE GIE premises, where participants were able to exchange ideas. This moment was also marked by the official signing of the partnership agreement between the two entities, strengthening their collaboration for the coming season.

This citizens’ day demonstrated the commitment of BATIGERE HABITAT and FC Metz Féminines to social causes, demonstrating their desire to contribute positively to the local community.
