Yzernay. Solidarity and warm day for Enzo

Last Thursday, Générations movement 49, bringing together the majority of seniors’ clubs in the department, organized its annual solidarity day at the Saint-Hilaire home in Yzernay. It was dedicated to the association of Smiles of Enzo and his friends.

Despite the rain, 250 walkers marched for Enzo. About 15 others played cards at the gym, waiting for them to return. Because everyone wanted to be there for the arrival of Enzo and his family at noon. Gilles Bourdouleix, president of Agglomération, and his wife Natacha, responsible for seniors and the disabled, were present.

Boy with multiple disabilities

After a presentation of his commune by Mayor Dominique Séchet, concluded by “life is good in Yzernay”Clémentine Chouteau spoke. “I am above all Clémentine Jolly, originally from Yzernay, expatriated with my husband to Saint-Christophe-du-. My parents are still in Yzernay. Let me introduce you to Enzo, 7 years old, who suffers from Lissencephaly, meaning his brain is smooth. At the same time, he suffers from a drug-resistant form of epilepsy. Enzo therefore has multiple disabilities, but he is a little boy who understands and who communicates with his eyes and his smile. »

A welcome donation

His parents created the association of Smiles of Enzo and his friends to help them and other friendly families to cover material costs that were only partially reimbursed. “The donation from your day will be used to set up a room for Enzo, fully adapted with transfer rail, adapted bath table… Because Enzo is growing and gaining weight. A big thank you to everyone. »

President of Générations movement 49, Dominique Rousseau, specified that “the recipes will be sent to you in a few days”.
