“Psychological culture: an essential lever for achieving psychological and mental health” is the theme chosen for this event open to all mental health professionals, students of psychology and psychiatry, and anyone interested in mental health.
The day will, according to the organizers, include presentations from leading mental health experts who will discuss the League’s response to the recent earthquake of September 8, 2023, highlighting the crucial role of psychological and medical interventions in the support for victims, we can read in a press release.
The League will also address strategies and methods of psychological support for victims, including intervention and support techniques in the long-term recovery process. The day will conclude with a presentation of statistics and summaries of the League’s interventions on the ground.
The study day will be an opportunity to:
– become familiar with the latest advances in mental health practices;
– discover how to provide effective support to people affected by trauma;
– gain knowledge about the crucial role of mental health professionals in disaster response.
