This house fire broke out in the middle of the night from Sunday September 29 to Monday September 30, in a house located on an isolated estate. Firefighters were still on site yesterday morning.
Yesterday, it was around one o’clock in the morning that the emergency services were alerted, when a house fire had just broken out in a place called l’Horte, located on the outskirts of the D 101 at the exit of Bouilhonnac , when we head towards Villalier.
We are on an isolated estate, where the two-story house has been unoccupied for ages.
The roof collapsed
Very quickly, firefighters from the Carcassonne and Trèbes emergency centers were engaged in this nighttime intervention, with two firefighting trucks, a water supply tanker and the large ladder.
On site, firefighters fought on several fronts around this 120 m2 dwelling, with the support of the large ladder. Engulfed in flames, the roof largely collapsed.
The house was completely destroyed by fire, with no injuries reported. Yesterday morning, firefighters were still on site to finish putting out the hot spots.
A gendarmerie investigation will be carried out to determine the origin of this fire, the intentional nature of which cannot be ruled out.
