The traditional Saint-Hubert day kept all its promises this year, with 27 participants. It is on the magnificent territory of Veyreon the black causse, that the festivities took place. Thanks to the warm welcome of local hunterswho were fully involved in the organization, game placement and cooking, the event was a real success.
The level of the competing dogs particularly marked this edition. All stood out for their performances, pushing those qualified towards excellence. Even those who did not obtain a qualification can be proud of their performance. The organizers are confident: some Aveyron residents will very likely qualify for the concours national This year.
In the meantime, the qualifications for the regional competition are now official:
- Lifting dog : Axel Rousselle, promising young hunter, qualifies.
- Archers : Thierry Capelle obtains his qualification.
- Hunters : Didier Moussac, who is having a remarkable season, stands out once again.
- Trialisants : The premier category is won by Jean-Luc Reynes.
- Category of queens : Patricia Calmettes and Charlotte Legrand also qualify.
A big thank you is addressed to Benoît Guilhen et Maxime Gaubertwithout whom this day would not have been possible. The hunters of Veyre and theUCM generously lent the land for the event.
