Bad pass

Self-taught
I learned to sing in a church choir, you have to sing in tune and stay the course, it’s very educational. Then, it was the musicians who taught me my trade. I never wanted a coach because they impose their tastes on you. All I know is the conductors and my pianists who taught me.

Cathedral
I love singing gospel in cathedrals, I am extremely well surrounded, I continue to learn. We don’t behave in the same way. These are places steeped in history, you can feel the silent public, you have to be sure.

American inspiration
My first 45s were American, Bill Haley, Elvis, Ella Fitzgerald, Ray Charles, full blast! These records imported from the United States were impossible to find in France but not in Switzerland and I lived not far from the border. It was very inspiring, it led me to this profession, even if I also loved Piaf and Brel, on the French side.

Charles Trenet
It was my grandmother who introduced me to Trenet, Son Jardin extraordinaire populated by rabbits with its clearing, I visualized it. He brought swing to France, he dubbed me when I started by quoting me in one of his songs. He was facetious, one day we had dinner together, he took my false eyelashes and wore them as a mustache.

Ray Charles
I was a fan. When he covered my song in English The sun died (The sun died) it was a great source of pride. We were both at Barclay’s. It gave me self-confidence when I started.

Zaho de Sagazan
She is cute and real, she plays and sings wonderfully, she embodies modernity. She writes really well and gives herself with a joy that is a pleasure to see. It’s the next big one. When I went to congratulate her after a concert, I was touched because she hugged me.

Repetition
I have a home studio to rehearse before tours. If we know his texts, we free ourselves from fear, memory can be maintained.

Artiste
I feel like an artist at heart, I am sensitive to the beauty of the world, I also paint, there are many analogies between painting and music. .I believe that an artist must surprise himself and his audience, otherwise we become bored.
