“Last Aid” awareness day in Brazey-en-Plaine on Thursday, October 10

On Thursday, October 10, an awareness day entitled “Last Aid” will be held in Brazey-en-Plaine, in the Clos Guenot room (Health center, 12 rue de Verdun), from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Organized by the Local Health Contract of the Pays Beaunois, the Mobile Palliative Care Team of the Hospices Civils de and the French Society for Support and Palliative Care (SFAP), this free training aims to raise awareness among the general public about supporting a loved one during the last moments of their life.
Led by professionals — a nurse, a psychologist and a palliative care volunteer — this day will address four essential themes:
1. Death is a part of life,
2. Anticipate and prepare,
3. Relieve suffering,
4. Say goodbye.
This event is open to all citizens, whether or not they are directly affected by illness or bereavement, and is aimed at those who wish to prepare as well as those who have lived this experience. The aim is to offer practical tools and essential information to better understand and support the delicate moments of the end of life.

Free participation with compulsory registration (places limited to 15).
To register, click here or by phone at 07.44.88.39.82.
