What’s going on behind the scenes at “Quotidien”, the talk show hosted by Yann Barthès every evening on TMC? According to an investigation published by “Télérama” this Monday morning, the atmosphere behind the scenes is far from being as light as on set, with numerous cases of suffering at work and even accusations of harassment.

The diving that offers Telerama behind the scenes of the show presented by Yann Barthès and watched every evening by nearly 2 million viewers, is not very bright. The article mentions in particular a boss, Laurent Bon, who called himself “the king” as well as numerous cases of “suffering at work, burn-out, poor management, or accusations of harassment…”.

“Intimidation and harsh criticism”

“It’s a crazy company with crazy resources… but it can also very easily crush you,” sums up a former executive who prefers to remain anonymous, for “fear of getting caught.” On the production side, Bangumi, it is claimed that “well-being” at work is taken very seriously. However, Telerama mentions an employee who was medically treated after suffering from depression. In a letter, this employee, who worked with the reporter Martin Weill, denounced “intimidation, harsh, gratuitous, public and incessant criticism”.

Still according to Teleramaat least four employees have taken their disputes to the industrial tribunal: two photojournalists and the columnist duo Éric and Quentin, who left quietly in 2019.
