On the agenda: meeting with the agents of the cleaning service, composting, recycling center, but also the possibility of taking a bucket and tongs and picking up cigarette butts. We want to make people aware of the importance of sorting and collecting their waste. “, explains Vincent Chevalier, deputy head of urban cleanliness for the city of Douai.

At the same time, garbage trucks were exhibited on the Place d’Armes, as well as the “Gluttons”, these devices that the Douai municipal agents use and which allow them to reduce the hardship.
