-Sturm Graz: Éric Roy feels “a lot of love” for his team – C1 – J1 – Stade brestois-Sturm Graz (2-1)

Best of .

Winner of Sturm Graz this Thursday evening for its first appearance in the Champions League (2-1), Stade Brestois has definitively written its name in the Golden Book of French football. Enough to make its coach, Éric Roy, proud, modestly grateful in a press conference: “I feel a lot of pride, a lot of love for my team, for my players. They already gave me so much last season, that it was not easy to imagine being able to make this state of grace last.” A done deal for the Finistériens, whose success launches a European campaign capable of bringing its share of good surprises.

Roy also gave some snippets of the speech given to his players before they entered the pitch, focusing on the emotional aspect: “I asked them to live in the moment, to be actors in this match. To live this event as it should be. To also live their emotions, because it is with emotions that we sometimes manage to transcend ourselves.” See you in Salzburg on the 1stis next October, for a new Austrian challenge and new emotions to channel.

Piracy is not about to end.
