a peasant day with the HK group Saturday September 21

Since the summer of 2022, the Com A La Maysou associative café has been bringing life to the village of Andoins, by organizing reunions around concerts and themed evenings. The aim for the volunteers of this association is to offer friendly moments, by combining culture, music, tastings, gastronomy, etc.

For its 3rd season, there have been many events throughout the summer, but this time, it is a rather exceptional event in a rural setting that is taking shape on Saturday, September 21, around a farmers’ day. Indeed, throughout this day, the village esplanade will host a gourmet producers’ market (offering catering), an educational farm and apiary, a discovery of ancient trades (blacksmith, falconer, grafter, ceramics, bookbinding, basket maker, beekeeper, etc.).

Traditional dance, conference, concert

A traditional dance is also planned at 11 a.m. and 4 p.m., with Sylvie and Anne-Lise, as well as an animation with free-flying birds of prey at noon, and a conference at 2 p.m. on the theme: “Eating in 2024 while respecting your health, your culture, your roots… and the planet”, hosted by Doctor Philippe Barthélémy, hospital practitioner in hepato-gastroenterology and volunteer involved in “the act of cooking and eating together”.

The highlight of this peasant day is expected at 6 p.m. with the exceptional concert by HK, who, after his album “Petite Terre”, wrote, at the end of 2020, the song “Danser encore”, an ode to the joy of living and the bond between people, which very quickly went around the world with hundreds of covers and flash mobs.

It was in a working-class town in the north of that Kaddour Hadadi, known as HK, created this nationally recognised group which carries out solidarity projects for culture and agriculture: after setting fire to the Olympia and Navarrenx, the HK group is continuing its tour of peasant balls and has chosen Andoins as its stopover on Saturday 21 September.

Refreshments and food on site, parking (carpooling recommended). Free participation (recommended solidarity amount: 10 euros). Reservations on helloasso.com
