A traffic accident occurred at 3:45 p.m. on Monday, September 16, 2024, on the outskirts of Niort, on the Coulonges-sur-l’Autize road. A car carrying a retired couple and a cyclist collided in the direction of Niort – Coulonges-sur-l’Autize, a little after the crematorium. Two SAMU teams were on site. The 65-year-old cyclist, seriously injured, was taken to Niort hospital.
