A small tourist aircraft, with three people on board, crashed on Tuesday in Loire-Atlantique. The search for the bodies is suspended for the night.

A “fatal accident” involving a small passenger plane occurred Tuesday in Lavau-sur-Loire (Loire-Atlantique), announced Tuesday on X (ex-Twitter) the Bureau of Investigation and Analysis (BEA) for the Civil Aviation Safety.
Three people were on board the aircraft which disappeared at the beginning of the afternoon between Nantes and La Baule, according to a press release from the Loire-Atlantique prefecture which had announced a little earlier the triggering of a plan of rescue.
Television journalist Gérard Leclerc (CNews, ex-France 2) was on board the tourist plane which crashed on Tuesday in Lavau-sur-Loire (Loire-Atlantique), where two bodies were located, said we learned from sources familiar with the matter.
Underwater research has been suspended for the night, these sources told AFP.
