His mother, Mrs. Lorianne Guillaume, passed away.

The note praised the quality of the singer’s mother presenting her as an incredible, loving and full of life person. “She played a vital role in Rutshelle’s life and career, encouraging him and providing him with unconditional love. Her loss is a real tragedy and will leave a huge void in the hearts of those who knew her,” the note said.
