From this Monday, January 27, and until Thursday, January 30, a man must appear before the Lot-et-Garonne Assize Court as part of his trial following the murder of Laura de Pradena Caceres, 31 years, in Marmande in February 2022.
Younès Moudni, a man aged around forty, must appear before the Lot-et-Garonne Assize Court from this Monday, January 27 for the first session of the year. This man is suspected of having killed Laura de Pradena Caceres, 31 years old and mother of three children of Spanish origin.
The trial is scheduled to last four days, until Thursday January 30. During these, the forty-year-old will have to answer for the facts, which occurred on the night of February 16 to 17, 2022.
That night, the lifeless body of the thirty-year-old was found on rue Gillet, in Marmande, while she was trying to find help from her neighbors. The victim was stabbed eight times and died of his injuries near his home.
-According to our colleagues from Sud-Ouest, Younès Moudni maintained an occasional relationship with the victim. And the man never denied the facts.
Tuesday May 23, 2023, rue Gillet was closed to traffic and parking for part of the day, following the reconstruction of the murder which took place that day. However, gray areas remain regarding the course of the evening of the murder.
Was the fatal blow given during a fight? These four days should therefore answer this question and provide more information on the circumstances of the tragedy. For his part, the man is already known to the courts. In 2020, the forty-year-old was sentenced to five months in prison for violence against an ex-partner.
