“The first elements of it show a human error in writing the headband, and in no case a political act or a malicious act,” added a spokesperson, stressing that in the antenna, the journalist had spoken well of “Palestinian prisoners”.

The Society of Journalists (SDJ) of the channel, which represents the editorial staff, spoke of its “human confusion in the writing of the text” and says to regret “deeply this incident”.

A similar error was made on Saturday on the website of the competing chain BFMTV, also mentioning the release of “two hundred Palestinian hostages”, in the body of an article on the subject.
The chain has also apologized to the readers of the site for this “inappropriate” expression and which “does not correspond to the reality of the facts”. “This error was taken very seriously and corrected as quickly as possible, in a desire for transparency,” said BFMTV management at AFP.
