Winner of the Valencia Community Classic on Sunday, Marc Hirschi won in his first race with the young and ambitious Tudor team that he joined this winter with Julian Alaphilippe.
The 26-year-old Swiss clearly dominated Italian Christian Scaroni in a two-man sprint to pocket the 24th professional victory of his career and make a fanfare debut with Tudor.
Hirschi is with Julian Alaphilippe the flagship recruit of the Swiss team which, led by former champion Fabian Cancellara, has been moving up the ranks four by four since its creation in April 2022.
-Backed by the luxury watchmaker, the team is still in the second division and depends on invitations from the organizers to participate in the biggest races.
The arrival of Hirschi and Alaphilippe offers them a real boost in this regard, especially if they shine like the Swiss on Sunday in Spain.
