After the individual money of the world number 1 Sébastien on Saturday, the brothers Patrice won team gold this Sunday during the World Cup in Plovdiv, in Bulgaria.

Absolutely everything smiles. So much so that they brought two new medals back to their suitcase after a very high standing weekend in Plovdiv (Bulgaria). Bronze medalists at the 2024 Olympic Games, the Marseille brothers Jean-Philippe and Sébastien Patrice won this Sunday the Saber World Cup stage.

It is the youngest of the siblings, and the world’s number 1, Sébastien who offered success after a breathtaking final, 45-44 against the United States. In the previous round, the Blues had taken their revenge from the semi-final of the Olympics against South Korea (45-42). If Maxime Pianfetti was also present at the Olympic Games, the young Rémi Garrigue (20 years old) has since replaced Boladé Apithy, now retired, in the Tricolore collective. This new quartet had finished fifth in Oran in early November.
