The Star Académie frenzy has firmly taken hold of Quebec while over the past week we have learned to discover a new cohort of young artists as talented as they are endearing. And everything indicates that we will be treated to a memorable edition of the popular musical reality TV.
Sunday evening, we attended the second variety of this young season and it was the first time that the big Sunday gala opened with the new theme song. We don’t know about you, but we’ve already had it in our heads throughout the week.
We couldn’t wait to see how our 14 Academicians would do in this grand opening number where they were the real stars. Of course, they were also on stage last Sunday for last Sunday’s opening, but the new generation was surrounded by many of the most popular stars in Quebec.
This week, there was no Wilfred Lebouthillier, Annie or Suzie Villeneuve or Marie-Élaine Thibert. No Garou, Pierre Lapointe, Émily Bégin or Véronic Dicaire.
-They were the big stars. And we can say it: they have everything to become big stars. With their talent, their energy and their charisma, the 14 young artists gave us an impressive performance and many Internet users noted how high quality the show we were offered was.
