Meix-devant-Virton: Neisser Loyola wins gold in Doha

Member of the Gaumais Meix-Etalle Fencing Club, Nesser Loyola won gold in epee at the Grand Prix in Doha (Qatar). A performance that places him among the best fencers in the world.

It is a source of pride for Belgian and provincial fencing, Nesser Loyola achieved a performance this Sunday by winning the Doha Grand Prix in Qatar in epee. “An extraordinary performance which confirms its place among the best in the world” reacted the French-speaking Federation of Fencing Circles of Belgium.

Ranked 14th in the world, Nesser triumphed over world number 2, Hungarian Gergely Siklosi (27), 15-11 in the final.
