“I ask my mother about her feminist past, and why she had a child on her own. She does not answer me, so I find answers elsewhere, in archives, from a women’s choir and in cinema gestures that I make. I want to unravel my mother’s mystery, I discover the 1970s’ women’s movement, a feminist militant cinema, and the filmmaker woman that I am changing. Thus, the manufacture of my film joins that of the activists I meet and testifies to the transmission of a memory of feminist struggles by collective cinematographic practice. »»
