Pierre Lapointe absent from the “Star Académie” variety

Music teacher Pierre Lapointe was absent on Sunday during the second variety of Star Academy.

This is because the singer-songwriter is in France these days to promote his most recent opus, Ten old-fashioned songs for the broken-hearted.

This trip was already planned when he agreed to be on the faculty of Star Academy 2025 with Émily Bégin and Véronic DiCaire.

According to the host of the variety show, Jean-Philippe Dion, Academicians should have the opportunity next Sunday to sing with Pierre Lapointe some of his new titles at Star Academy.
