The Idao trotter from Tillard, piloted by Clément Duvaldestin, won the American Prize for the second consecutive time, Sunday, January 26, during the 104ᵉ edition of the race at the Vincennes racecourse (Val-de-Marne). This rare double allows him to keep his title of world trot champion harnessed after his first victory in 2024.
-The Norman champion finished the race by 2,700 meters in 3’11 “8, ahead The French mare Just Love You, driven by Alexandre Abrivard, who is second (3’12 “0). The trotter Go on Boy, another Norman horse, driven by Romain Derieux, finished third (3’12” 2).

This is a successful return for the world champion, who had to stay at rest in November after having contracted leptospirosis, bacterial disease.
Idao de Tillard, six years old, was born in the Chaunon team in Hotot-en-Auge (Calvados) and Trained at the Thierry Duvaldestin stable in La Ferté-en-Ouche (Orne). Its total gain in the race now amounts to almost 2.4 million euros.
