David Hubert learned lessons from the Plzen match. Only three holders in common but also three major firsts.
After the non-match in the Czech Republic, David Hubert left only three of the Plzen starters on the pitch: Leander Dendoncker (replaced in midfield), Mats Rits and Jan-Carlo Simic. The rest of the eleven changes completely… including Colin Coosemans.
For the latter, it is not a question of sporting choice but of an injury which allows Mads Kikkenborg to get his first minutes in the championship. This is not the only big first of the evening: César Huerta is started for the first time.
-This is also the case for… Keisuke Goto, who replaces an absolutely catastrophic Luis Vazquez on Thursday. A strong signal to the Argentinian, and a chance for the Japanese who will therefore be able to prove his qualities with this first place in the eleven.
Yari Verschaeren and Thorgan Hazard find their place in the team, as do Moussa N’diaye and Killian Sardella.
