Tottenham, in a free fall, bowed again on Sunday in the Premier League, at home against the poorly classified Leicester (2-1) which remained on seven losses in a row in the championship.
The “Spurs” led thanks to Richarlison (33ᵉ) before being overthrown on the return from the locker room by Jamie Vardy (46ᵉ) and Bilal El Khannouss (50ᵉ).
This makes eight defeats in the last ten championship matches for the Londoners, fifteenth (24 pts) with only seven more than Leicester units (17ᵉ, 17 pts).
Coach Ange Postcoglou, faces a multitude of injuries for several weeks, more particularly in defense where he is missing his goalkeeper N.1 (Vicario), his central defenders (Romero and Van de Ven) and his left side (Udogie ).
-Tottenham collects too much goals and his rearguard also appears to be scattered, sometimes passive, as on the second goal of the “Foxes” on Sunday.
Leicester scored in less than five minutes, as many goals as during the seven defeats that preceded its trip to northern London.
The Ruud Van Nistelrooy team comes out of the red zone with a point ahead of Wolverhampton and Ipswich, current relegation first.
