Herminia Depression: floods in Rennes, evacuations and disruptions in the West

The Herminia depression causes violent winds, heavy rain and flooding in western France. In Rennes, the rising waters of the Saint-Martin canal led to the evacuation of residents from four streets. Disruptions are also affecting rail and road traffic in several regions under orange alert.
