The workshop brought together 13 African countries and focused on essential subjects such as the introduction to water resources management, conservation techniques, the impact of climate change and water -related policies and regulations.

Objectives and results

This training made it possible to strengthen the technical and scientific skills of participants and encourage interstate cooperation and the sharing of knowledge between countries.

Closing of the training

The training, which was certifying, was closed by a ceremony presided over by the Minister of Water and Egyptian irrigation, in the presence of several ambassadors from the participating countries. Participants received certificates, stressing the importance of this initiative for the development of water resources management capacity in Africa.
This training represents a significant step towards sustainable and effective management of water resources, essential in the face of growing environmental challenges.
