A prestigious race crowning the best trotter in the world, the Prix d’Amérique Legend Race takes place this Sunday, January 26 at the Vincennes racecourse. Here is all the information you need to know about the final of the America Races competition.
The Prix d’Amérique was created in 1920 as a tribute to the American commitment during the First World War (1914-1918). This prestigious race brings together the best trotters in the world over the 2700 meters of the large Vincennes track (which includes a descent and an ascent). The record kilometer reduction of the race is1’10”8i.e. an average speed greater than 50 km/hestablished in 2021 by Face Time Bourbon. This Award offers a total allocation of1 million euros dont 450 000 € for the winner (the first seven in the race are rewarded). This is an international event broadcast in 36 pays and on 4 continents. 40,000 spectators are expected at the Vincennes racecourse to attend. The Prix d’Amérique is the race most played by punters each year in France. 18 million euros were thus bet on this event in 2024. This Sunday, January 26, the PMU will put into play an exceptional piggy bank of 3 million euros at Quinté+a sum which will be shared between the punters who have found the right combination of Quinté+ in order.

Impressive winner of the Prix d’Amérique Legend Race in January 2024, Idao de Tillard will try to imitate Face Time Bourbon, Bold Eagle, Ready Cash, Offshore Dream and Varenne, author of the double in the 21st century. The champion of the Duvaldestin family has just brilliantly returned to success during the Prix de Bourgogne (Qualif 5) and has thus reassured after having disappointed during his return to the Prix du Bourbonnais (Qualif 2) where he was ill. He will be barefoot on all four feet for the first time in his career. Author of a magnificent straight line in the 2024 edition (fourth), Go On Boy placed second to Idao de Tillard during his return and promises to be formidable. Absent last year due to an injury, the Swedish horse San Engine will be there this time with legitimate ambitions.
