The doctor registers the emergency on the request and the person only has to appear at the Center for Samples or Radiology directly.
I was confirmed that this appointment stoppage is due to budgetary discounts. Thus, by offering the homeless, the healthcare costs are less.
This decision would also disregard the staff of the services concerned. This means that we come back to the principle of first arrival first served and to engorge in the waiting room … the opposite of efficiency.
And we dare to tell us that it is to facilitate services to the population. It is a lack of transparency from our leaders.
If there is one thing that works well at the Sainte-Croix Hospital, it is the Soucy sampling center, and even, in the context of the disuse of the hospital.
