Hanouna and M6, the story has a taste of déjà vu. On the occasion of the announcement of the departure of Nicolas Tavernost from the management of the M6 group, the host of TPMP had lifted the veil on a past negotiation. In his show, he told a barely believable story in which he is at the heart of a battle between the group that still employs him today, namely Canal +, TF1 and M6.
A check for 38 million euros per year over two years from TF1
At the end of the season on D8, he received an offer from TF1. “I’m going to throw everything away, even the amounts. I don’t care. When analyzing the two offers on the table, his choice is made: he will stay on Canal +.“I prefer to go there (where we win) half but where I am at home rather than on TF1 where I don’t feel it.” “This is not my world.”he concedes, fearing not having the freedom that was his until then.

Nicolas de Tavernost jumps at the chance

He makes him understand that it will be difficult… This is how Cyril Hanouna refused the golden bridge offered to him by M6.
