A 66-year-old man confessed to killing his 34-year-old son at his home in Bréhéville in the Meuse on January 16. The defendant must be presented to a judge this Friday, January 24.

A man confessed to the murder of his son in Bréhéville (Meuse) and must be presented to a judge this Friday, January 24 in , indicated the public prosecutor of Verdun Delphine Moncuit, confirming information from the Est Républicain.

The victim shot dead

The victim, aged 34, was discovered shot to death on January 16 at his home in Bréhéville, a small town of around 200 inhabitants.

Discovered in his bed, the man had several bullet wounds. It was the victim’s father who alerted the police, saying he had not heard from his son.

According to L’Est Républicain, investigators had discovered the existence of “profound differences” between the two men and took the father, a 66-year-old farmer, into custody on Wednesday. He confessed on Thursday.
